Lion Photo booth: Where did my pictures go??

Some of you have noticed.. that as you upgraded to Lion, many wicked changes have occurred. Well we're not here to talk about our feelings on them. This is how to access your pictures on your Mac so you can upload your pictures of you with bug eyes to Facebook, since that is obviously devastating people. It's very simple actually.

1. Go to your Pictures folder.

2. Find the Photo Booth Library

3. Right click it.

4. Click Show Package Contents

5. All of your pictures, back-drops, and originals (photos without the effects on them) are all located right there in their respectful folders. Here's some pics:

A Formless Sphere With Some Random Light

I decided to reread Genesis. After reading just the 1st chapter, I've picked up on so many things I haven't realized before (almost like whenever you reread anything). First of all, whenever I thought of creation I always thought when it says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth." [v1], that it meant the earth was a giant ball of water. But if you look at verse 2, it says that the earth was formless and empty... so this has to mean that the earth was not a ball of water, otherwise it would have a form.. it was just a free flowing body of water with no
exact form. Not a sphere, a cube, or a DNA shaped earth. Formless and empty, and in total darkness. You try creating water and hover over it all seeing what you just created... in the dark with no light.. It's incredible how much power God has.

Now according to Genesis, Light was created after this. I always thought God created the sun right then to give light to the earth, and that the stars were created with verse 1 (heavens and the earth). Makes sense, however if there were stars, there would already be light. So maybe God just made the sun to give light. Kind of makes sense if you're stuck in present day science vision. However, God hasn't created any stars yet at this time. But when you get a couple verses later, it states:

"¹⁴ And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, ¹⁵ and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. ¹⁶ God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. ¹⁷ God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, ¹⁸ to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. ¹⁹ And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day."

Obviously, the stars have now been created. And um.. the sun is a star. So the sun was created! I am very curious as to how God had light without the sun. Whether the light just expanded across the universe, or over just his workings of the earth, or if it was like the sun within God, and the strongest point of light was given off by Him and he was the ultimate source (in a physical-astronomical science sort of way).

So I have to say, viewing at the earth without a form, and light without a sun definitely changed my view on Creation and brings me to more amazement at our God with what He can do. I don't know when the earth became in a solid form, whether it was after Adam and Eve had sinned, or before. Who knows, it could have been when God created the light! All I know is that now the earth is obviously a sphere. Also in Ecclesiates 1 it says the earth is round, by saying the streams flow back into each other and the winds go round and round:

"⁶ The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course. ⁷ All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again."

Interesting subject.

This picture is simply incredible..

Every single spec of light you see in this picture.. is another galaxy.. in each of those galaxies are billions and billions of stars. With those stars are billions and billions of planets. With everything in there there is to see.. there is one creator, who is indescribable, and all those stars... all these magnificent incomparable creations.. He sent His son to our little planet.. to die.. in our place and give us a chance to avoid hell. Why?! Because He loves us, and wants to be with us forever. Now that.. that right there.. is true love. <3

The Sweet Taste of Eye Drops

I've been using eye drops for the eye problem, and I always get a bitter taste in my mouth. So I looked it up this morning before church because it happened again. I found an answer! There's some chamber thingers back there as described here at this link.

this is what i came up with to use your macbook at a wireless receiver for xbox live.
MACBOOK
1. Plug in ethernet cables
2. system preferences > network> configure ipv4 = manually
ip address= 10.0.0.1
subnet mask= 255.255.255.0
3. system preferences > sharing> internet sharing
share your connection from= AirPort

To computers using "ethernet"
click check box next to "Internet Sharing"
select Start
4. Terminal- type in: dig
look for something like the following:
;; Query time: 14 msec
;; SERVER: 216.144.187.199#53(216.144.187.199)
;; WHEN: Tue Feb 16 22:48:32 2010
;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 500
get number in the server line that is in parentheses
XBOX 360
1. dashboard > my xbox > system settings > network settings > configure network
ip settings > manual:
ip adress= 10.0.0.2
subnet mask= 255.255.255.0
gateway= 10.0.0.1
DNS settings > manual
set both servers to number in parentheses from ;; SERVER:
2. network settings > test xbox live connection

this allowed you to put in an ethernet cable, and instead of your macbook receiving data through it, it takes the internet from your wireless, and runs it through the ethernet port, straight into your xbox 360.
